Introduction:
Prashar lake trek, a blue-water lake in Kullu Valley, is bordered by that of the Dhauladhar hills. Prashar Reservoir is a very well secret in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district. The hike takes you through a beautiful woodland with various rivulets. Meanwhile, because the route passes through villages, visitors may take in the local culture. Trek to Prashar Lake (distance: 16 km)

Temperatures around the lake areas: During the summer, the temperature ranges from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius during the day, and from -2 to 5 degrees Celsius at night. During the winter, the temperature ranges from 5 to 10 degrees Celsius during the day, and from -2 to 0 degrees Celsius at night.

Ways to reach at the destination:
The trek can be done in a number of different ways. The same bus that is travelling to Bhuntar will stop in Panarsa, which is 10 kilometres away from Bhuntar. There are two possibilities from Panarsa:
You can book taxi from Jwalapur Village(25 km) –> Prashar lake trek (6 Kms).
After you can book another taxi at tihri village(30 km) –> Prashar Lake Trek.
Schedule you can follow:
At 9:00 a.m., report to Panarsa inside a guesthouse where you can freshen up.
To satisfy your hunger, have a wonderful breakfast.
In a shared cab, depart at 10:30 a.m. for Jwalapur, which is 20 kilometres from Panarsa.
At around 11:30 a.m., arrive in Jwalapur and begin your hiking trip.
The Prashar Lake hike is 8 kilometres long and takes about Four hours to complete the lovely Prashar Lake.
The path towards Prashar Lake is densely forested, with numerous waterfalls and tiny streams.
At roughly 2:00 PM, you’ll be offered a packed lunch in the middle of the trekking track.
Following your journey towards Prashar Lakes, guests were free to explore at Prashar Rishi monastery and take in the Himalayan vistas. Don’t miss the opportunity to photograph the Himalayan silhouette at sunset.

The other day
Begin your day by capturing a 360-degree vista of the Himalayan ranges and savouring the memories for the rest of your life.
Around 8:30 a.m., have your breakfast near the lake.
At roughly 9:30 a.m., begin descending to Jwalapur.
Arrive in Jwalapur by 12:30 p.m. and take a shared vehicle back to Panarsa.
Around 1:30 PM, lunch will be provided at Panarsa homestay.
After lunch, you’ll finish your adventure at 3:00 PM with a lot of amazing memories.
Some of the tips for the trek:
The climatic conditions at high altitudes differ from those on the plains; allow enough time to acclimate.
The management retains the right to alter the route in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable journey, pay attention towards the trip organizers and instructors.
Do not recommend trekking at nighttime unless it is part of the plan and you are accompanied by a guide; this could result in unforeseen mishaps.
Consider not utilizing plastic bags to preserve the destination’s ecological balance.
