My 4days/3 nights experience of Rajasthan Trip

We are a couple from Odisha, planning a 4days and 3 nights vacation in Rajasthan as we took the package from Thrillophilia. At first, while planning our vacation we were so exhausted and confused searching for a destination for a trip but guess what, we finally ended up scrolling through the Thrillophilia reviews and found the Rajasthan trip to be so much fascinating for many. Our Rajasthan package included Jodhpur and the city of legends and folklore-Jaisalmer. Throughout the trip, we both were fully immersed in Rajasthan’s rich cultural and traditional form. And we must say that after the excursion, Rajasthan is a wonderful destination for a short touring holiday for any visitor. A journey to this remarkable place needs to be planned once in a lifetime. Honestly, we felt that we learnt many insightful things on this trip. We must recommend everyone out there, once to go through the Thrillophilia reviews on Trustpilot and then plan your vacation.

Our memorable journey started the moment we arrived at Udaipur. We were welcomed by our representatives who then transferred us to the hotel. After check-in formalities, we stayed back at the hotel for some rest. Next, we proceed to explore Rajasthan’s second-largest city Jodhpur also known as Blue city. We had a great time visiting major attractions like the beautiful Umaid Bhawan Palace, majestic Mehrangarh Fort. We kept continuing our sightseeing tour of the day and came across the elegant Balsamand Lake. Our evening was also well-spent in strolling around the colourful local market and shopping at some authentic antiques and classic handicrafts shops at Ghanta Ghar and Kalyan Lak. Our guide was very friendly and informative throughout the sightseeing tour.

Day two started with a kick-start journey to the Shimmering “Golden City” of Rajasthan that is Jaisalmer. With a delicious breakfast served at the hotel, we got ready to set off for Jaisalmer. While travelling we took a short break in between at the Jaisalmer War Memorial, which honours the contributions and sacrifice of war heroes and traces the evolution of the Indian Army. On arrival in Jaisalmer, we checked into a hotel and spent the rest of our day in leisure. In the evening, our representative took us to explore the nearby markets. After returning back to the hotel comfortably we stayed overnight in Jaisalmer.

The next day initiates with a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel in Jaisalmer. My wife and I woke up with so much excitement and hoped to proceed with the city tour. We both were accompanied by our Thrillophilia guides and explored very keenly the secrets hidden behind the Golden Sands of the Thar Desert in Jaisalmer. Then we visited the golden Jaisalmer Fort that looks magnificent just like it rose from the sands with its golden limestone walls. Our day didn’t end with this, We also went to marvel at the beautiful royal Havelis including Patwon-Ki-Haveli, Nathmal-Ki-Haveli, and Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli that feature exquisite carvings and filigree work. After experiencing the stunning architectural marvel, we stopped at the beautiful Gadisar Lake that was once the only source of water in Jaisalmer. My wife and I had a wonderful camel safari where we also got to enjoy the folk performances by the locals while having a bonfire. Our day ended with a scrumptious and authentic Rajasthani meal at the Desert Camps in Jaisalmer. The whole day trip at Jaisalmer was very well organized and impressive, all thanks to our Thrillophilia team as they kept us guiding throughout the itinerary. Most specifically the camel ride and Swiss tent stay in Jaisalmer was noteworthy and best among all. When we were back at our hotel, we still wondered if we could spend those moments again in a while. Because those consecutive three-day trips were really enjoyable and fascinating to visit and explore the iconic Jodhpur and Jaisalmer forts.

Throughout the journey, we both observed that the Rajasthani people were quite warm and welcoming. My wife was extremely astonished and impressed with the vid cultural aspects of Rajasthan that include folk dances as well as classical and folk music. We both couldn’t realise how the time passed too soon at Jaisalmer. The Next morning at the camp we both woke up with a bit of sadness as it was our last day of the Rajasthan trip. Soon after a healthy breakfast we checked out from the desert camp and packed our bags along with a bag full of unforgettable memories. Embarking back towards Jodhpur, we concluded our short trip to Rajasthan. The trip added a new experience to our life to cherish forever. Throughout this trip, we realise why Rajasthan is known as the jewel of the nation and plays a vital role in the Indian tourism industry. All thanks to Thrillophilia reviews on Facebook that got us very useful and helpful in selecting a place of interest.
