SBP Announces the Bank Timings in Ramadan 2023

The public dealing bank timings in Ramadan have been updated as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am to 2pm (without break)
  • Friday: 8:30am to 1pm (without break)

The office timings for banks during Ramadan have been updated as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am to 3:30pm (with prayer break from 2pm to 2:30pm)
  • Friday: 8:30am to 1pm (without break)

Reversion to Pre-Ramadan Timings

The notification also mentions that the timings for public dealing and office hours will automatically revert to pre-Ramadan timings after the holy month ends.

Zakat Deduction Holiday

It is important to note that banks will remain closed for public dealing on Friday, March-24-2023, for the purpose of Zakat deduction.
